Members and musicals get a little mixed up!

This is a home-grown concert that works like Backwards Broadway – singing songs by different sexes, different races, and different ages…

If you’d like to be a part of the concert we meet weekly from 7:45pm – 9:45pm @ Deptford & Millfield Community Centre in Sunderland, SR4 7XJ (it’s right next to Pallion Health Centre!)

Auditions will be held Friday 20th May
If you don’t feel like taking centre-stage, you can still come along and join in either backstage, front of house, or in the chorus!

We are welcome to anyone over 14 years and all abilities, you don’t need to have any experience – so come along and get a feel for the company, we’re sure you’ll love it!

**P.S. your first 2 sessions are FREE**

The Roles I’d Never Play will be performed:
WHERE?: Deptford and Millfield Community Centre
WHEN?: October 1st (Saturday) & 2nd (Sunday)

Our previous production was Curtains performed in April at the Royalty Theatre.

Sunderland Theatre Company are like my second family. Since the moment I joined I was welcomed with open arms. Working together to bring together the artistic vision of the production team this amazing group of people create art worthy of a professional stage!

- Nathan dippie

Sunderland theatre company is not just a theatre group it is a family! We join together with our common interest in theatre and passion for performing, and build amazing productions together! We also create amazing memories socialising as a group and are definitely one of the most welcoming societies! The most amazing shows with a fun rehearsal process surrounded by the most amazing stage family!

My talented daughter Megan is the reason I got involved in the first place, now STCo is my second family, every single member of Sunderland theatre Company, who have become more than just friends over the years. If you are thinking about giving performing as a hobby a try I would say "come along and give it a try", my only regret is that I did not do it sooner.
